Lobster Johnson: Get the Lobster #4

Part four of five in the "Get the Lobster" arc finds Dark Horse's pulp vigilante in fine form — Tonči Zonjić's cover places the goggled, gun-wielding Lobster Johnson against a moody red-drenched New York skyline, with the unmistakable spire of the Chrysler Building looming behind him and a massive, menacing mechanical claw dominating the foreground. The tension between the lone hero and that hulking machine gives the image a wonderfully cinematic, noir-thriller charge. Written by Mike Mignola and John Arcudi with colors by Dave Stewart, this 2014 issue is pulp adventure doing exactly what it does best.
