Star Comics #10 is an anthology featuring multiple stories including "Jungle-Town Show Boat," in which characters witness a show boat and discuss signaling a man in the air while one character mentions their father is a "G man," ultimately leading to a sister's kidnapping at an airport; and "Wheels of Danger" by Fred Carter, where Detective Keene encourages a character named Whizz to win a 10,000 dollar prize in a race, but Whizz and his competitor must contend with a criminal named Crook who also seeks the prize money. The issue also contains a science fiction story featuring a character's visit to an island where a man named Gratan has created synthetic beings composed of body and brain matter designed to develop ideas, absorb knowledge, and think without natural fear, with their only protection being inhibitions Gratan has instilled in them.
