Love Confessions #10
In "Rich Man, Poor Man," actress Lynn finds herself at odds with her co-star Roger—until she overhears him betting he can win her heart. As their fake romance unfolds, she begins to see past his polished studio persona to the kind, devoted man beneath, including his quiet commitment to raising his orphaned niece. With Bill Ward handling both art and inks, this 1951 tale of mistaken intentions and genuine connection unfolds in a tender, character-driven story that’s as heartfelt as it is quietly surprising.

Actress Lynn dislikes her co-star Roger; when she overhears him taking a bet than he can make her fall in love with him, she decides to play along and then dump him. However, as they become acquainted, Lynn discovers Roger’s a good man whose public image is a studio creation for publicity purposes, and is even raising his orphaned niece. Roger had faked the “bet” so she’d agree to date him. They will be married.
