“Caught In The Web Of Love”

In "Caught In The Web Of Love," Ed and Cynthia take a rare moment away from the hospital, only for a sudden accident to pull them into a life-or-death situation. As Ed struggles to confess his feelings during a tense drive, a critical emergency forces them to act—rushing a bleeding man to save his life. When the dust settles, Cynthia gently presses him to remember what he was about to say, but Ed can’t recall. Written by Joe Gill and brought to life with expressive inks by Dick Giordano, the issue’s cover by Pat Masulli and Dick Giordano captures the emotional tension of a moment suspended in time.
