Marcia’s beautiful face allows her to captivate men, whom she then discards without a thought. She takes up with Steve, even though his girlfriend Amy begs Marcia to leave him alone. Marcia is attracted to Larry but he rejects her despite her beauty: “there’s an ugliness inside you.” Steve proposes marriage to Marcia and, realizing she actually loves him, she accepts. However, Marcia learns Amy tried to commit suicide as a result. Steve reconciles with his former girlfriend. Marcia learns humility and vows to change her life, and Larry decides he can marry her now.
