Love Romances #16
In "I Loved the Wrong Man!", a poignant tale from 1951’s Love Romances #16, Hazel’s mother recounts her grandmother Jane’s heart-wrenching story set in 1880s London. As a young shopgirl, Jane finds love with Charles, only to be haunted by a dark secret tied to her past in Cornwall. Art Peddy’s expressive art, inked by Vince Alascia, brings emotional depth to this layered romance, while Christopher Rule’s moody cover captures the story’s bittersweet tension.
