Boxing manager Andy introduces his daughter Janice to boxer Billy; the two young people fall in love, although Andy says boxers’ lives never end well. Billy promises Janice to quit after he’s accumulated enough money for his education and their marriage, but he wants to fight for the title. Janice breaks up with him and Billy becomes engaged to a socialite. However, Billy wins the title, retires, and reconciles with Janice.
