A woman receives a cosmetics counter job offer and visits a department store for a free makeup consultation, where a young man named Clark mistakes her for a demonstrator and begins flirting with her. After an awkward but charming encounter, he reveals his romantic nature and asks if she would like to give their relationship another chance, to which she agrees. In a second story titled "Don't Be Mad!", Dulcy receives a special advertising offer for a free makeup consultation at the Brent Department Store and encounters a tall man who initially criticizes her appearance but then becomes smitten with her, ultimately kissing her and confessing that he'd been dreaming of meeting someone like her. A woman who has been separated from her love Clark for months while he was in Australia reunites with him at a party, and after some initial hesitation about rekindling their romance, they reconcile and plan a future together in the countryside.
