The second volume of Tehem's Lovely Planet arrives with a cover that says it all: a wide-eyed backpacker, hiking pole in hand and bedroll under his arm, swings frantically above a teeming sea of bizarre alien creatures rendered in a wonderfully chaotic wash of green. Every corner of the image is packed with strange, grinning faces and oddball beings, giving the whole thing an irresistibly anarchic energy. If you enjoyed the first volume, this 2009 Glénat release looks every bit as gleefully unhinged.
