“Chapter 1: Minus 2”

"Chapter 1: Minus 2" kicks off a sharp, mysterious tale from Dani Dixon and Chris Mullins, whose dynamic art and tight storytelling bring a grounded tension to the first issue of M.I.S.//ing. When Hughes, head of the IT department at a corporate firm, is pulled from a meeting to fix a growing system failure, his routine day unravels into something far stranger—especially after a chance encounter with a troubled employee named Asher. Meanwhile, a chilling scene unfolds on a distant space station, where two men face their end amid a pile of corpses, hinting at a larger, unseen force at work. The cover by Donie Odulio and Camellia Cox captures the story’s eerie, high-stakes mood.
