Bloodmoney has captured Manhunter, intending to kill him, but Dumas (under the Psycho-Pirate's control) kills Bloodmoney first. He then manages to gain Manhunter's power of the Wild Huntsman and turns on the Psycho-Pirate. Now powerless, Chase Lawler learns that Dumas is really Mark Shaw, and Sarge Steel later reveals that Shaw previously fought crime as another Manhunter. Chase is free to explore a new future.
