Eva's relationship with Robert is discovered and she is ordered by the embassy to return to Rugaria. She begs to stay with Robert in England and a cable is sent to her homeland, but there is little hope. She is forced to board a boat and as the coast of England fades from sight, a small vessel comes alongside. A message has come from her homeland granting her permission to stay in England and Robert promises to look after her.
