Marilyn #29 October 1960
In "Jungle Girl," Jean’s routine office day takes a surreal turn when she realizes she’s been working at a place she no longer remembers—her boss sold it three years prior, and her own past has vanished. With Ken’s help, she seeks answers, only to have her memory return with a jolt: a fleeting romance with a charming colleague named Julian, whose sudden marriage left her heartbroken. The story, illustrated with sharp detail by Juan Abellán, unfolds with quiet intensity, blending mystery and emotional resonance.

As Jean takes off her coat in the office, Ken comes in and asks her what she is doing there. She tells him she has been working there since leaving school, but soon discovers that her boss had sold the place to his boss three years ago. Realizing she had lost her memory of the past three years, Ken takes her to a doctor. The next day her memory returns and she tells Ken of a staff member she met three years ago who had a way with girls. She loved him until the day he told her he was getting married, but had been haunted by the memories of the way Julian treated her prior to her memory lapse.
