Peter and Sophia are hanging out in Manhattan when they are confronted by the Silencer. She tells Pete to put on his Spider-Man duds and fight her. Disturbed that she knows his secret identity, he does so and gets the best of the Silencer until she shuts off his mind and escapes. Sophia confesses to Peter that she is a mutant who can talk to animals. Sophia discovers that the Silencer is really her roommate, Emma Frost.
