The mayor's office again tries to restrict Code: Blue's operations even as the Wrecker is on a rampage. Thor is brought in to stop the Wrecker but he is later called away by an emergency from the High Evolutionary. Code: Blue ultimately allows the Wrecker to complete his mission: to find his father, who is dying in a retirement home. When his father dies the link which enabled the Wrecker to re-enter Earth from the dimension where Loki exiled him is broken and he returns into the alien dimension. Elsewhere, Captain Conklin's husband discovers his employer intends to reactivate the Thermal Man.
