Marvel Méga #28
In this 2006 issue of Marvel Méga #28, Thor embarks on a mythic quest across distant lands, guided by ancient warriors and the power of the Grasscutter sword. Written by Michael Avon Oeming and illustrated by Scott Kolins—with inks and colors by Kolins and Quintana, and a cover by Kolins—this story sees Thor and the Warriors Three journey to Egypt, facing towering serpent statues and a final trial on the hill of Toth. When Hogun completes the five tasks, tensions flare as Gnives sends Ulik to stop them, but a surprising intervention from Gnives’ wife leads to an unexpected truce. Back in New York, Thor returns to his life as Donald Blake, the journey’s echoes lingering in the quiet.

Thor and the Warriors travel to Egypt to climb the hill of Toth, but their progress is impeded by giant serpent statues. Hogun reaches the summit and shouts three times, which fulfills all five tasks set for them. But Gnives isn't happy about the success of the Asgardians and sends Ulik to take them out. Gnives' wife shows up and chews him out, allowing the differing parties to come to an adequate compromise. Thor returns to New York and his life as Donald Blake.
