“Sub-Mariner! Joins the Evil Mutants”

In "Sub-Mariner! Joins the Evil Mutants," the Sub-Mariner finds himself entangled in a high-stakes clash when a foreign spy hijacks an indestructible robot built by Bruce Banner—only to unleash it on the world. With the Hulk transformed and the robot out of control, the fate of the planet hangs in the balance as Banner, now powerless and vulnerable, vows to build a better weapon. Stan Lee and Steve Ditko deliver a tense, character-driven tale of ambition and consequence, with Jack Kirby's dynamic cover capturing the chaos.

Bruce creates an indestructible robot which is able to withstand the power of a nuclear blast but the stress of completing it on schedule causes him to transform into the Hulk and he leaves this massive weapon of awesome power unattended. So of course, a foreign spy who has been hanging around gamma base jumps into the robot and takes off. The Hulk tries to stop the robot but can't and once he is worn out from the battle, he transforms back into Banner. Found lying in the desert by Ross and Betty, Bruce vows to build a bigger and better robot to take down the first one.
