“Conan the Destroyer: Part I”

"Conan the Destroyer: Part I" delivers a pulse-pounding start to a legendary quest, with Conan bound by a deadly promise: bring Queen Taramis’s niece, Jehnna, to safety and reclaim a fabled key only she can unlock. Written by Michael Fleisher, Roy Thomas, and Gerry Conway, and brought to life with bold, dynamic art by John Buscema and rich coloring by George Roussos, this 1984 Marvel Super Special sets the stage for a perilous journey through ancient ruins and shadowed castles. The cover by Renato Casaro captures the tale’s mythic scale, hinting at the treasure, the sorcerer Thoth-Amon, and the fate of Jehnna—all before the first page turns.
