An alien robot wishes to be a human being and convinces a greedy man to exchange places with him to learn the secret of where he acquires his riches from. When the alien's compatriots arrive on Earth to return him to his home planet they mistake the transformed human for the creature they are looking for and deposit him in an asylum for the delusional back home.
