Marvel Tales #6
In "The Man Called Electro!", a young inventor named Johnny finds himself caught in a high-stakes chase after witnessing Paste Pot Pete’s latest heist. With his powers still untested, Johnny pursues Pete to a missile base, only to be launched into space when he’s caught in a blast—returning to Earth with a new, dangerous mission in mind. Written by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber, with dynamic art by Jack Kirby and inks by Dick Ayers, this 1967 adventure blends sci-fi thrills with the early days of a hero on the rise. The cover, a striking collaboration by Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby, captures the moment of escape with bold, kinetic energy.
