“When the Commissar Commands!”

In "When the Commissar Commands!", the Avengers journey to the oppressed land of Sin-Cong, where the tyrannical Commissar rules with an iron fist. With Stan Lee's sharp storytelling and Don Heck's dynamic art—inked by Dick Ayers and lettered by Artie Simek—the team faces a chilling enemy unlike any they’ve encountered. The cover, a striking piece by Jack Kirby with inks by Dick Ayers, captures the clash of ideals in bold, dramatic style.
