Masked Raider #22

The Masked Raider tracks outlaw Logan north of town, leading to a tense showdown where Logan is captured—only for him to escape during the chaos caused by a sudden eagle attack. As the townspeople turn against the masked hero, believing him to be a greater threat than Logan, the Raider must evade a growing posse while also confronting his own secret identity, which threatens to unravel when his closest friend begins to suspect the truth.

The Masked Raider is arrested by Sheriff Garrett on suspicion of stealing a black mare, but insists he only found the horse injured at a spring. As the sheriff prepares to bring in a lawyer, the Masked Raider—secretly the town’s timid lawyer Les Wilcox—must find a way to escape the jail and appear in court before his identity is exposed.

Rocky Lane, the roving marshal, races after Andrew Leek, the man behind a robbery and a plot to poison his horse, Black Jack. With Leek and his men hunting him across the desert, Rocky must outwit them while enduring the harsh terrain and the threat of a deadly trap.

The Masked Raider races to stop outlaw Leduc from detonating a powder shack, narrowly avoiding the blast that destroys the structure. While debris and confusion follow, the Raider’s horse White Star and his dog Talon survive, and the Raider returns to town to confront Leduc and his gang, who are unaware he’s still alive.
