Skeletor and his minions capture Teela, then reveal that she is a clone of the Goddess, also named Teela, created by Skeletor. Man-at-Arms rescued the Goddess, who gave him the infant clone to raise as his daughter. In the present, Skeletor controls Teela to gain entrance to Castle Grayskull using the Talon Fighter.
