This collected edition presents Art Spiegelman's groundbreaking graphic novel Maus, which recounts his father Vladek's experiences as a Polish Jew during the Holocaust, using anthropomorphic animals—mice for Jews, cats for Nazis—to explore memory, trauma, and survival. Originally serialized in Raw magazine and published in two volumes (1986 and 1991), it remains a seminal work in the comics medium, winning a Pulitzer Prize Special Award in 1992. The Russian-language edition from Corpus (2013) collects the complete narrative in a single volume.
