“From Bad to Worse”

In "From Bad to Worse," Mickey and Goofy find themselves adrift in Goofy’s newly christened yacht—only to lose its rudder and narrowly avoid a collision with Black Pete’s ship. With their anchor snagged on a mysterious submarine, they’re pulled through a storm toward an unknown island, stranded and unsure what lies ahead. Written by Carl Fallberg and brought to life with energetic art by Paul Murry (pencils, inks, and letters), this 1976 adventure captures the duo’s mischievous spirit amid rising peril. The cover by Al Hubbard perfectly captures the moment of suspense, a storm-lit seascape with the strange submarine looming just beyond.

While on a cruise in Goofy's new "Yacht", which soon lost its rudder, Mickey and Goofy were almost run over by Black Pete's ship, but escaped when their anchor became hooked to a strange submarine. Not daring to free themselves during a storm, they were towed to a distant island.
