At a party at Liz's place, Brian suggests that she get a sofa for her bed-sitter. Liz finally finds one she can afford, but another young man has just purchased it. Liz uses her charm to get the man to let her buy it, but she can't afford the delivery fee. She decides to push it home herself, but gets stuck. She calls Brian to help only to discover he already has a steady girlfriend.
