Mirabelle #5 April 1969
In "Travelin' Man," a rain-soaked Shirley finds herself drawn into the troubled past of Drake, a former racer who walked away from the track after a fatal accident. Now, as she learns the victim wasn’t just a fan but someone with a quiet connection to Drake, the weight of what happened begins to surface. With Enric Badía Romero handling both art and inks, the story unfolds with a moody, grounded intensity, capturing the tension between memory and the present.

Shirley knew that Drake had turned his back on racing after the accident that killed a spectator. But now she learns that the girl who had been killed hadn't been just any fan, but had a special interest in Drake. And there may have been a special relationship between them just before she died. Drake picks up Shirley as she is walking in a rainstorm on her way home. Drake is obviously attracted to Shirley, but is haunted by his past.
