Buzz lies to Patsy that he'll be busy writing a book for the next couple of weeks in order to get out of having to pay for all the expensive dates she had planned. This lie catches up with him when, through a series of events, Patsy's meddling leads to a shifty novelist stealing Buzz's father's friend's manuscript and passing it off to his publisher as his own.
