Issue five of Tom King and Mitch Gerads' twelve-part series offers one of the most quietly affecting covers in the run, rendered by Nick Derington: Scott Free and Big Barda, both still suited up in their New Gods armor, sit side by side on a sandy beach at sunset, a pier with a Ferris wheel glowing in the warm light behind them.
