Mr. Universe, a powerful strongman, is crowned and presented by his promoters as they prepare him for matches. When a mysterious organization called Power Inc. expresses interest in him, Universe becomes entangled in their schemes involving a wrestling match and a belt containing a hidden microfilm. After defeating his opponent, Universe is manipulated into handing over the belt to Power Inc.'s representatives, though suspicious circumstances surrounding the fight and the belt's hole suggest he has been deceived. The story continues as Universe travels south with associates to an oil field, where further complications involving Power Inc. and their plans for the microfilm unfold.
