Volume 2 of Renji's Monster and the Beast presents a quietly striking cover: a white-haired young man in pale, elegant clothing reclines on a patch of vivid green grass, his expression calm and a little sly, while dark, ribbon-like tendrils curl around him from above. The contrast between the soft, almost pastoral setting and those shadowy wisps hints at the tension between the human and monstrous worlds at the heart of this series.
