Clare Lune, a high school student, transforms into Moon Girl to protect her mother from danger when she learns that a traitor named Ka-Zhan plans to harm the Queen and steal the fabulous Hart Stone diamond. Moon Girl summons her moonship and travels to Samarkand to stop Ka-Zhan's plot. After confronting Ka-Zhan and his associates, Moon Girl retrieves the Hart Stone, thwarting the villain's schemes and ensuring her mother's safety.
