“The Man without a Face!”

In "The Man without a Face!", Moon Girl takes on Shrimpo, a small but dangerously ambitious man whose lifelong ridicule has driven him to plot a violent takeover of Bloody Mike’s gang and plunge the city into chaos. Written by Gardner Fox and illustrated with sharp, expressive detail by Sheldon Moldoff, this 1949 EC Comics standout sees Moon Girl confront Shrimpo’s criminal scheme in a tense showdown at a jewelry store robbery. The cover by Sheldon Moldoff captures the moment with dramatic flair, setting the stage for a classic early crime-fighter tale.

Laughed at all his life because of his small size and large brain, Shrimpo decides to wipe out his competition, Bloody Mike, take over Mike's gang as his own, and terrorize the city with a series of crimes. Claire just happens to be on the scene of their robbery of a jewelry store and challenges the gang. As Moon Girl she tracks down and disposes of Shrimpo and his gang.
