“Love is the Best of Luck!”

"Love is the Best of Luck!" is a tender, quietly surprising tale from My Secret Confessions #1 (1965), where two university friends, Carol and Mike, navigate unspoken feelings amid playful rivalry and social awkwardness. Written and illustrated by John Rosenberger, the story unfolds with gentle humor and emotional honesty, tracing their lives after graduation as careers bloom and old crushes shift into something deeper. Ken Bald’s expressive cover captures the story’s romantic tension, making this early Alan Class title a standout for fans of classic, character-driven romance.
