"The Dream That Wouldn't Go Away" follows an astronaut named Will Cramer who experiences a recurring dream of an underwater world where beautiful beings welcome him, telling him they have waited long for his arrival. When strange things begin occurring—a ball mysteriously appearing, lightning striking from a clear sky—Will realizes the dream may not be a dream at all. Three alien visitors present him with three capsules, each containing powers: one to destroy enemies without harming life, one to bring permanent peace, and one for destruction, revealing that the capsules can only be opened by will and that his world's fate depends on which one he chooses to open.
