“The Drink of Death!”

In "The Drink of Death!", a desperate criminal named Mickey, fleeing the law, forces an undertaker into helping him vanish—only to end up trapped inside a coffin meant for a corpse. With his friend Eddie in pursuit, Mickey’s escape takes a chilling turn when the hearse carrying him arrives not at a graveyard, but at a crematory. George Roussos handles both pencils and inks for the story’s moody, suspenseful interior art, while Carl Hubbell’s cover captures the eerie tension with a stark, dramatic image.
