National Lampoon Magazine #50
In "Another True Western Romance (Part Two)," the legendary Son-o'-God—dead once more—lies on display in the Zionist War Museum after his latest demise in the desert. His Devoted Dozen stage a daring museum break-in to revive him, setting off a surreal clash of faith and iconoclasm in the Holy City. As the Messiah is welcomed by the crowd, one figure remains unmoved: Bob Dylan, who takes on the spirit of Zimmerman to stand against him. Art by Frank Springer, with inks by Frank Springer, this surreal satire blends biblical myth and countercultural rebellion in a story that’s as irreverent as it is unforgettable.
