Frodo Bonhomme is high from eating ergot. He gets thrown out of his parents' house, but meets up with Blind King Garth of Scotland who is single-handedly laying siege to the castle of Sir William King. Frodo gives the King some ergot which restores his sight and convinces the King to wander off to a distant plain.
