New Funnies #7 is an anthology comic featuring multiple stories including "Sheriff Fox," in which the titular fox sheriff pursues an outlaw and discovers the outlaw is actually hiding in town disguised as a marshal; and "Billy the Kid," depicting a young boy's bedtime adventures involving nightmares about German invaders and subsequent chaos in his household. The issue also contains a war-themed story involving a submarine mission and explosions at a wharf, culminating in destruction of enemy vessels and installations.
