A whimsical forest scene greets us on this second volume from Kadokawa, where a cheerful young girl in a deep blue cloak leaps joyfully through an enchanted woodland alongside a tall, elegantly dressed companion in a top hat. Glowing orbs, gnarled trees, and clusters of mushrooms give the setting a delightfully eerie fairy-tale atmosphere. If the first volume left you charmed by Nicola's leisurely travels through the demon realm, this one looks every bit as magical.
