This Winter Special anthology contains horror stories including "It Screams," which depicts the supernatural revenge of two star-crossed lovers buried in a pit who seek vengeance on the living; "Pleasant Dreams," in which a driver on snowy New York roads in December 1969 experiences a car crash that may or may not have been real; and a science fiction horror tale involving a spacecraft birth where 43 offspring are born to an unnamed crew member, with a doctor declaring one child dead and the crew realizing the newborns will survive despite being unsuitable for the ship's life support systems.
