“Tiourma”

In "Tiourma," Arrouan, fleeing the relentless pursuit of Uragino, finds refuge with the Siberian Tchoukches. When the shadow of a malevolent force catches up to him, he takes shelter in a decommissioned nuclear plant—just as the Tchoukches seize its staff, threatening the last lifeline for their starving community. Amid this tense standoff, Sakiko arrives, her consciousness reborn in the body of Kalash, Arrouan’s former Touareg companion. Written by Jean-David Morvan and illustrated by Sylvain Savoia, with colors by Francine Savoia, this issue blends isolation, survival, and the haunting weight of memory. The cover, by Sylvain Savoia, captures the stark, frozen intensity of the moment.
