Occupy Avengers issue seven puts its heroes in a genuinely unsettling spot — two civilians and a blonde man in a dark costume are surrounded and nearly swallowed up by a dense crowd of green-skinned, pointy-eared Skrulls pressing in from every direction. The color palette of deep blues and muted purples gives the whole scene a tense, claustrophobic weight that Walker, Walta, and Bellaire have built this series around.
