Orion subjugates the attacking army of New Genesis using the Anti-Life Equation and learns that Meteorra is really Justeen, seeking revenge for the death of Darkseid. He then takes Lightray, Justeen, and Mortalla with him to confront the approaching Gedirath, realizing that only Darkseid could have commanded the Promethean Giant, and therefore Darkseid still lives.
