"Out of This World" #9 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Out of This World" follows a newspaper columnist who plans to expose a spiritualist charlatan at an exclusive séance, only to discover a shadowy figure in the room—the "old bum" he glimpsed in the shadows earlier, suggesting supernatural intervention. "Reservoir Rescue" is a prose story in which two fishermen discover a hidden underground chamber containing ancient weapons, muskets, and what appears to be a long-dead human skeleton while exploring a flooded reservoir area. A third story, partially visible, titled "Out of This World," depicts a man on horseback pursuing another rider across a desert landscape, with gunfire and a mysterious attraction to a weapon.

Fleeing a rebellion of their own making, they arrive at Earth with fear in their hearts, bracing for violence as armed soldiers surround them. When a child steps forward with a rag doll, and a child from Earth meets her with a smile, the moment becomes a quiet, hopeful turning point—no words needed.
