This issue contains three Western stories. "The Outlaw Trail" follows Todd Ream as he comes to Fort Texas with fast guns and a slick lawyer to grab land, only to discover that beating Ream to ride has left a trail of trouble. "Apprentice Badman" depicts the Ria Blanca Gang's escape from Lobo Wells Jail, with Joe Segura leading the charge as petty thief-jailed gang members flee for freedom, prompting a mounted pursuit through town. "The Storm!" features a Texas Ranger caught in a violent rainstorm at Stage Station No. 5, where he confronts fleeing outlaws amid the elements and discovers poisoned water that kills those who drink from it, though Red Fogarty's desperation to escape drives him toward the contaminated source.

The Outlaw Trail
7 pp · Western-Frontier

When Todd Ream arrives in West Texas with forged deeds, a slick lawyer, and a conscience-free scheme to steal land through the courts, he targets Ray Moultrie's hard-won Broken M Ranch. As the legal system becomes Ream's weapon and circumstances push Moultrie toward desperation, the rancher discovers that fighting back through the law isn't enough—and that survival on the outlaw trail demands a price he may not be willing to pay.

Apprentice Badman
6 pp · Western-Frontier

Leo Salles, a petty thief swept up in the Ría Blanca gang's jailbreak, finds himself caught between outlaw leader Joe Segura and the law—assigned to pose as bait in a bank robbery, unaware that a clever lawman has plans of his own. When the job goes sideways in the dusty streets of Benton, Salles must decide where his true loyalty lies, and a hail of gunfire will settle the question once and for all.

The Storm!
5 pp · Western-Frontier

When a raging storm washes out the bridge near a remote stage station, Texas Ranger Jim Hardin finds himself caught between desperate outlaws and an even more sinister threat—the box he's protecting contains plague serum meant to save the town of Turkey Bend and settlers across the flooded river. As the ranger prepares to risk his life crossing the treacherous waters by flatboat, a shocking betrayal forces him into a deadly struggle where saving the medicine becomes a matter of life and death.

Red Fogarty's Friends
7 pp · Western-Frontier

Red Fogarty rules the badlands through fear and stolen gold, confident his money and guns guarantee protection among the hill folk he calls friends. When a lawman pursues him, Fogarty discovers the bitter truth: those he's bullied and bought off have turned against him, and his own scattered wealth becomes the very thing that leads him to justice. A frontier tale about how tyranny and greed ultimately betray the tyrant.
