This issue is an anthology containing three Western stories. "Gun Justice" follows a woman who helps outlaws escape town; when they flee on horseback, unseen guns fire at them, and the outlaws turn on each other until they're stopped by a marshal who gives the woman a badge, praising her bravery. "Snake Bite" features Marshal Ben Russ confronting the outlaw Mace, who has shot and wounded a man; Ben convinces Mace to hand over his prisoners to territorial jail after five days, trusting in Mace's word that he can be lenient. "Blood Is Thicker" tells of Burris Jones, who has a small fortune at stake and a valuable longhorn, embarking on a mission to save a stranger's life; when the stranger (Wismer) arrives injured at the ranch, Moose rides to town for the doctor, and Burris Jones brings Wismer back, where the doctor treats his injuries of a bruised arm, concussion, and cracked ribs.
