Darwyn Cooke's adaptation of Richard Stark's Parker lands on French shores with this Dargaud edition, translated by Nicolas Richard. The cover sets the mood perfectly: a stone-faced Parker crouches in shadow beside a carnival game booth — "110 Shots for 10¢" — armed with a revolver, two blades laid out beside him, the whole scene soaked in that cool, dusky noir palette Cooke made his own. Fun Island promises exactly the kind of tightly wound, hardboiled tension this series delivers so well.
