“Stilt Skating”

In "Stilt Skating," Felix the Cat finds himself in a frozen fix after enduring the brutal cold of the Antarctic, leaving him so blue that even the scientists he once saved don’t recognize him. With his usual charm and wit, he navigates a makeshift igloo and a mischievous sled dog, all while the icy landscape plays host to his latest unlikely adventure. Written by Joe Oriolo and illustrated by Otto Messmer, this 1959 Harvey classic features a delightfully surreal twist on survival, with cover art by Joe Oriolo.

Felix has literally turned blue from the Antarctic cold and, as a result, the two oddball scientists don't recognize him as the black cat who saved their lives in Part One - and summarily dismiss him. Running afoul of the scientists' sled dog, Felix eventually ends up in a "home-made igloo".
