Pat Sullivan's Felix the Cat #113
In "Star Lighter, Star Bright," Felix the Cat finds himself adrift in a makeshift shell boat after escaping a furious chimp, only to be tossed by a hurricane and forced to dive into the ocean. There, he discovers a sunken ship brimming with food—just as a shark sends him scrambling into an old cannon, which a fish suddenly fires, launching him back into the storm’s fury. Written by Joe Oriolo and Otto Messmer, with art and inks by Oriolo, this 1961 Harvey classic captures Felix’s chaotic journey with playful energy, while Warren Kremer’s dynamic cover sets the tone for the wild ride ahead.

Felix gets away from the angry chimp by rolling off the island and into the sea, inside the same artillery shell casing he used to escape the battleship in issue #110. He's forced to abandon his makeshift casing-boat when a hurricane approaches. Diving beneath the waves, Felix finds a sunken ship full of food - but must flee from a shark. He ducks into an old cannon, which is fired by a fish, and is blown back into the teeth of the gale - headed for who-knows-where.
